*News* Kim Hyung Joon and U-KISS Kibum reveal their new business in an interview

Kim HyungJoon and Kim Kibum will develop their new business related to comic characters in mid-June. Kim HyungJoon has had revealed in an interview with Sports Korea, “Along with my brother Kibum, we already had some lots of interest in graphic designs and graphic creations from a long time ago.
Kibum will be designing the graphic designs of the characters in various products. He wanted to challenge a brand new field with this new experience felt”. For the sake of adventing this new business, they had already begun market investigations from a year ago and had begun creating a homepage for it, not just that, they had also set aside individual working rooms in their new-moved home too. Both the brothers’ self-designed creations and self-designed characters will be printed on what is called the character products, and will be for sale. From shoes to notebooks, socks etc, all various kinds of products includes those designs by them. Both these brothers are in fact not challenging the conventional route that most celebrities are taking, which is a shopping mall business, they are actually showing a side that’s different with this along with the confidence that comes from within.

KimHyungJoon added on, “We didn’t form this business for the sake of earning money, we did this so as to gain experiences, and also the side or talents which we weren’t able to display to you all on stage will have a fairly good chance to be displayed through such chances”.

KimHyungJoon is currently preparing for his comeback with SS501 while UKISS is currently preparing for next album after ending their current album’s music activities.

*News* Brothers Battle for Popularity! Hyung Jun: Brother Ki Bum is a threat

Both brothers are in the entertainment industry. Hyung Jun loves to search for his name online, and felt that brother, U-Kiss’s Ki Bum, is a threat!

SS501 member Kim Hyung Jun recently signed with new management alone, and came to Singapore alone to meet fans for the first time. He, a 23 years old guy, has a straightforward and casual personality. While being interviewed, he will talks gently and laugh heartily, making lots of funny expressions. He even did 6 different poses for picture taking instantly and showed his English skills generously. During his interaction with fans, he is very generous, hugged them, laughed happily, electrified them with his charms, almost with no limitation and very friendly. However, Hyung Jun stated that when he is at home, he talks less, ”but when up on stage, in order to mingle with fans, he will be very hyper and friendly”.He is the youngest in SS501, but is the eldest in his family. Having different status in different environments tend to make him confused. But he stated that currently, he is happy to be the youngest and a chatty KIm Hyung Jun, ”because i am more suitable to be like that!”.

Kim Hyung Jun debutted as SS501 in year 2005. His 3 years younger brother, Kim Ki Bum, joined U-Kiss 2 years ago, following Hyung Jun’s footsteps into the entertainment industry. Hyung Jun event attended U-Kiss’s events to support his little brother, showing their close relationship. However, recently U-Kiss’s popularity is rising rapidly, will Hyung Jun be worried about his juniors overtaking him?

“My brother is currently very active in the industry, attending Korea variety shows. At first, we are good brothers, but now, i felt that his is a little threat, but he is still my good little brother!” He quickly added:”Just kidding! I am very happy to see my brother getting more attention and popularity”.

U-Kiss came to Singapore twice, while this is the first time for Hyung Jun. He said that his brother had recommended him to try our local delicacies:”He told me Singapore’s Chilli Crab and Pepper Crab is a must-try, and not to miss out on Singapore’s night view. He even reminded me to buy a present for him. Haha!”

Hyung Jun also generously admit that he loves to search for his name on the web occasionally. His aim is to contribute to his popularity and increase the numbers of views. He stated:”Just started on my solo activities, thus i felt that this is a must, hope that fans will support me, and do the same for me!”

Participate in a musical at year end.

Hyung Jun will participate in a musical at the end of the year, hopes able to step into the movie industry in future.

After going solo, Kim Hyung Jun admits that sometimes he felt lonely. Now that he is alone, he needs to be more mature and careful in his social skills. But being a happy-go-lucky and straighforward, he added:”As a member of SS501, sometimes will want to try our different genres of music, but it might not suit the other members. Now being alone, i can pursue the music style that i like, and can get all the camera focus on myself. Haha!”
Having just signed with his new company, they stated that they protect Hyung Jun’s activities with SS501. Even though they are in different agencies, but if they want to stand on stage together in future, the company will give their utmost support.

Kim Hyung Jun also disclosed that he will participate in a musical at year end:”Next i hope to advance into the movies industry. Wish that there is a good role for me!”

Over 1000 fans gathered at IMM Garden Plaza last night for ”Kim Hyung Jun Meet-and-Greet” session.

Kim Hyung Jun is very friendly and nice during the 2 hours event. He even praised that Singapore fans are very enthusiastic. When the host, Ken, asked him if he wanted to unbutton his vest as the weather is too hot, Hyung Jun actually launched a counter attack and wanted Ken to take off his jacket. The scenario is funny.

 

Apart from personally signed the posters for the first group of fans, Hyung Jun also addressed each poster according to their names. As for the second group of fans, they received a limited edition poster from Hyung Jun personally. Some of them even asked for a hug, a handshake, highfive etc, having closer contact with their idol.

Mother of brothers U-Kiss KiBum and SS501 Kim HyungJun made a surprise confession that ‘I am thinking of having a child at this old age’.

U-Kiss appeared in MBC ‘Good Day’ broadcasted on 10-Aug, showing their 2 days 1 night experience in the navy and 3 days 2 nights activities in Japan.On this days’ broadcast, brothers U-Kiss KiBum and SS501 Kim HyungJun’s mother and U-Kiss Kevin’s mother made a surprise visit at the recordings of ‘Infinite Girls’.

Kevin and KiBum’s mothers took care of all 7 members of U-Kiss like their own children and showed their thoughtfulness by bringing them lunchboxes which they have specially prepared.

On this day, KiBum’s mother confessed, making everyone surprised, “If I had known better, I would have more sons and form them into idol group. I only had 2. I am thinking of having more.”

KiBum who smiled brightly at his mother’s confession, was lost in thoughts right away “In fact, during the difficult times, mother brought up my brother and I almost single-handedly. Because she worked so hard, brother and I will show our best.”

 

The producers of ‘Good Day’ went to U-Kiss’s dorm in Japan and disclosed the process of members doing their make-up.

Actor Park Yong-ha commits suicide

South Korean actor and singer Park Yong-ha has been found dead at his house in southern Seoul on Wednesday, the police said.

Park’s mother found him lifeless hanging from a cell phone charging cable in his room, according to the police.

After repeatedly saying “I’m sorry” to his family including his father who is suffering from a stomach cancer at around 0:40 a.m., he went into his room, local news reports said.

He earned his fame as a hallyu celebrity through TV drama “Winter Sonata.” Park was particularly popular among fans in Japan and Southeast Asia.

He was also scheduled to play the lead role in upcoming drama “Love Song,” a remake of the film “Chum Mil Mil,” with actress Yoon Eun-hye.

Popular boy bands’ SS501′s KimHyung Jun and U-kiss’ Kim Ki Bum are blood brothers. After their activities in different groups, they finally joined together. They challenge lyrics and song composition using the name “H&B”.

“H&B” composed and published the song lyric of “Want it” in SS501′s special album of Kim Hyung Jun, Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng for the first time. In SS501’s full album which will be released in May, also included their song. Although there are many singers who work as composers in order to broaden the areas of activity, members of idol boy bands and brothers as a combination of composers is very rare.

Kim Hyung Jun said “Among the recent popularity of high composers like Brave Brothers, H&B can also be recognized by everybody as composers who will be good. Although we’re not yet very mature, we will still continue to ask for your expectation.”
